Best Cashback UPI Apps in India 2025: How I Earned ₹20,000 with UPI Payments!
UPI (Unified Payments Interface) has completely changed the way we make payments in India. UPI apps are not just for money transfers, they are also a smart way to earn rewards, cashback, and shopping benefits. I personally saved and earned close to ₹20,000 just by using UPI apps regularly for shopping, bill payments, food delivery, travel bookings, and even small day-to-day transactions.
Here’s my experience with some of the best UPI apps in India that helped me to earn more Cashbacks and rewards-
1. POP UPI – Cashback + POPcoins
POP UPI has been one of my favorite apps. Lightning-fast payments (never had UPI lag issues). It gives both direct cashback and POPcoins (reward points).
How I earned cashback-
- Every UPI payment gave me 2% POPcoins.
- On merchant payments, I got ₹10 to 100 cashback instantly.
- I also used POPcoins on shopping - got discounts on Puma, boAt, Myntra, Amazon, Zomato, and Swiggy.
2. Super.money – Up to 5% Cashback on UPI
This app surprised me with its super high cashback rates. It gives up to 5% cashback on UPI payments, which is better than most other apps. Trusted by big names like Flipkart, Axis Bank, and IndusInd Bank.
How I earned cashback-
- Paid on Swiggy, Zomato, BlinkIt, Uber, Ola, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
- Got flat cashback instead of random vouchers.
You can also buy products from Flipkart with 3 month EMI with 0 interest using this app.
Used their superCard (credit card on UPI), improved my credit score while earning rewards.
It has some other Features I liked-
- SuperFD with up to 9.5% interest.
- Pre-approved personal loans when needed.
3. MobiKwik – Pocket UPI & Bill Payments
MobiKwik has been around for years, but now it’s better with its Pocket UPI feature. You don't need to add any bank account to use this app.
How I earned cashback-
- Got benefits by paying bills (electricity, water, LPG, FASTag).
- Recharged mobiles and DTH with small cashback offers.
Pocket UPI let me pay without linking my bank account, I just loaded my wallet and made payments.
It has some extra benefits also -
- Checked my credit score for free every month.
- Used ZIP EMI for some shopping when I was short of cash.
- Invested in FD at 9.5% return, better than a normal bank FD.
Download MobiKwik here and get bonus SuperCash.
4. BHIM UPI – Simple & Trusted
BHIM is India’s official UPI app, developed by NPCI. It’s simple, secure, and reliable.
How I earned cashback/savings-
While BHIM doesn’t give huge cashback like others, it sometimes offers seasonal cashback campaigns (especially during festivals).
The best part was the UPI Lite feature - made instant small payments without PIN.
Split expenses with friends and avoided awkward payment delays.
Which UPI App is Best?
From my experience, If you want direct cashback on every payment, go with Super.money.
If you want shopping discounts + coins + credit card rewards- choose POP UPI.
If you want a pocket-friendly app with bill payments, loans, and FD investments- try MobiKwik.
If you want a safe, simple, government-backed UPI app- use BHIM UPI.
I personally use a mix of these apps depending on the situation. This way, I maximize my cashback and rewards and that’s how I earned almost ₹20,000 without spending extra money.
